Follow Up Acupuncture Treatment
Follow up appointments will typically be under one hour. We will have a brief initial check-in, but these treatment sessions will focus primarily on acupuncture and adjunct techniques, which can include cupping, gua sha, moxibustion therapy and tui na.

Initial Consultation with Acupuncture
In our initial consultation we will discuss the main reason you are coming in, as well as treatment options. In order to get a well-rounded assessment, I will perform a full body scan, health history, and pulse and tongue diagnosis. We will follow with the acupuncture treatment, as well as any adjunct techniques, such as cupping, gua sha, moxibustion therapy and tui na.

CUPPING – Glass cups are applied along the meridians of the body, creating suction to stimulate energy flow
GUA SHA – Chinese medicine treatment of fascia scraping, used for many conditions
MOXIBUSTION THERAPY – Traditional heat therapy which involves the burning of specific herbs at acupoints of the body
TUI NA – Chinese therapeutic medical massage
